Thanks to our families and the local community, Oaklands Primary School were the winners in the recent Tesco Stronger Starts 'Blue Token Scheme' which has meant that we have been able to invest in new OPAL Play equipment for our school. 

Children now have lots of new equipment to play with at playtimes.  These include a water play area, dressing up, a new den building area, a mud kitchen, a music area plus a range of different sports equipment. 

The School Council have shared some of their thoughts about playtimes:

“Children make really big dens with building blocks.”

“I love the red spinning cones because they are really fun.”

“I love the gymnastic mats and rolling in the big tube.”
