Well done to the Year 3&4 children who participated in Motivate! The children involved took part in sports activities that were based on games and films! All the children represented the school with respect and enthusiasm. We are looking forward to the next one! 

It was lovely to welcome Adam Dance to Oaklands this morning. Our Year 5 Pupils really enjoyed listening to him speak, and they asked thoughtful questions about his role as a politician and his future plans for the local community.     

Year 3 took part in a Judaism workshop. They learnt about worship at the Synagogue, the importance of Shabbat and handled various artefacts linked to the Jewish faith.

Year 1 had a wonderful time at their recent parent partnership mornings. We invited parents and carers to watch a phonics lesson in class, followed by some fun and engaging reading activities in the hall.
