Year 5 Visit to St James Church

As part of their RE topic on Christianity, Year 5 took an Autumnal walk to St James Church on Preston Road. Reverend David Keen greeted us at the door and welcomed us into the Church. The children listened to David explaining all about Christianity and they shared what they had been learning in class. They then had some time to explore the inside of the Church, do some wax rubbings and search for a rabbit and a dog that was carved into stone! The children represented the school brilliantly! Well done Year 5!
