We are delighted to have been awarded the Platinum School Games Mark.

This is the highest Mark achievable, and is awarded to schools that have met the standard for the Gold Mark in the previous four years.

The School Games Mark is a government-led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress. Its mission is to keep competitive sport at the heart of schools and provide more young people with the opportunity to compete and achieve their personal best. The School Games comprises both Intra and Inter-school competitions leading to County Finals as well as a biennial National Finals event and consists of four unique types of competition: intra-school competitions, local interschool competitions, county finals, and the School Games National Finals.
