Year 5 were immersed in an amazing music workshop with musicians from Jackdaws today where they took part in a show in front of their school friends. Inspired by the year of the recorder, the company performed using recorders and the children learnt to become a percussion band accompanying their music.  During the interactive performance, all the audience were also involved in performing actions to the music.

They performed a song about a cuckoo as well as a chicken!!

The talented musicians had travelled all the way from Germany and were really World Class!
