As part of our learning on Christianity we are have been asking ‘What is a baptism?’. Year 3 were invited to church by Reverend David Keen who told the children why and how people are baptised. He then explained the ceremony itself and the importance of the role of godparents. The children then acted out a baptism before having the opportunity to ask Reverend Keen about the church building which comes up in our next RE lesson.
